The bride and groom seeing each other before the wedding is one. Now they do that “first look” thing so that superstition may be gone.
Democrats have the best interests of Americans at heart?
They care about blacks?
They want a secure America?
(plenty more)
“Never f*** with a winning streak.”
Agreed. If we can’t have a gold standard, at least bring back a silver standard.
The Pope put together an army to murder the templers. Friday 13 is the day of the massacre. Always be wary of the government religion. Wood is organic and is a positive influence to ward away evil. Working with wood. Go with the grain. Carpenters work with wood. Joseph was a carpenter.
I’ll gladly accept all of those worthless fiat notes in your possession.
Lol! I’ll keep my fiat notes, but I wouldn’t mind an inflexible currency.
I think a lot of Americans are superstitious, but in different manners. They may wear a favorite (lucky) suit to a big meeting. The casual golfer may only want to play balls w/ the #1 on them. Baseball is sort of filled w/ routines and bad luck/good luck things that players get attached to.
Obama’s chef was paddleboarding
Michelle is a woman
Barry was eligible for the presidency
Nevermind, no one believes any of these.
Not very lucking if a person on the ladder drops something on your head.
Is CoVid being a new pandemic on the list?
You’re right. I’d take my St. Christophers amulet and travel over there to tell him he’s wrong. Then I’d beat a three Hail Marys out of him to boot.
I love the stealth weather balloon. That’s pretty cool.
and free!
Interesting breakdown of groups admitting to being superstitious.
I think they are way undercounting most groups and what they are superstitious about. Simply talking to people reveals that almost all of them have some kind of superstition.
That said, I don’t because I don’t believe in luck but rather that God is in control. There’s no room for superstition in a Biblical world view.
Wow. You sure have a bad case of victim mentality. Playing the martyr never wears well
Besides, I think the numbers are way undercounted for Catholics. Having been raised in a Catholic family, gone to school and worked with many Catholics in heavily Catholic Western NY, I found virtually ALL of them are superstitious. I was when I was Catholic, too.
Catholics are very superstitious and this is not a thinly veiled hit piece on Catholics just because the truth be shown. There were a lot of other groups represented as well. So you can dispense with the martyr complex.
We have an antique hutch that we call the St. Joseph hutch, because it was taller than most hutches we saw, but we knew it was the right size for our kitchen, which we were remodeling. It came in two pieces, and St. Joseph helped us fit it exactly in my little Rav 4, when we stumbled upon it, and knew it was just right for us. We’ve only had it for 9 years, but consider it a family heirloom. In 9 years it has become a very beloved piece.
I don’t consider myself superstitious but I do a lot of the “good luck” rites, I don’t really believe doing those things will actually bring good luck, but they are fun any way.
It’s also bad to spot a Obama beating someone to death.......
I am so stealing that graphic!
