It looks likely Vitamin D could curb, or at least prevent, worse psoriasis, however, it is possible psoriasis saps the Vitamin D out of the body, as well.
Either way, get your levels checked and supplement, if needed.
I have psoriasis.
Have had active psoriatic arthritis.
Vitamin D is sooo important for treatment.
Sunshine is the best remedy, as it assists in the body’s production of vitamin D.
Active psoriatic arthritis is absolutely the worst thing that you can imagine.

The Vitamin D song (tune “Girl from Iphenema”)
“D d-D d-D d-D-Dee-d
D d-D d-D d-D-Dee-d
D d-D d-D d-D-Dee-d
Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeee”
(at least it’s better for you than Baby Shark)
Good info, thanks. I’d bet a random testing of 100 people would show the large majority to be vitamin D deficient. Especially those living up North.
Topical synthetic vitamin D creams ..
WHAT!!?!?
Vitamin D is FREE!!!! you body MAKES IT!!!!!!!
just step out into the sun people!!!!
i have cured my psoriasis. Important to note this is likely temporary and I did not have it all over my body.
I have a genetic predisposition to a Vitamin D issue and my D is usually low when tested. I periodically take Vitamin D but not on a consistent basis because I have so many jacked up rare genes that affect metabolism that Doctors have no clue how they are interacting.
I can’t tell you exactly what has cured this but I suspect it is either the Red Light from Mito ( I don’t use every day) but more likely the reason is low dose naltrexone. I have had to go off LDN for the moment and the psoriasis has not come back after several weeks.
I am completely shocked that psoriasis I have had for more than 10 years disappeared. I wish I could give you a conclusive answer as to why it happened but I can’t.
My solution is simply to spend plenty of time outdoors. Fortunately it is easy where I live.
Sunshine is free.
Interesting thx.
