Top 5 Barbie Oppenheimer Haunted house Talk to me Color of freedom
(Excerpt) Read more at boxofficemojo.com ...
They list Color of Freedom with a very low Total Gross as a percentage of its Gross. The top-20 movies have the Total Gross right at Gross. Can someone explain this difference?
Color of Freedom?
Also note that this weekend, Sound of Freedom *once again* increased their number of theaters.
Right now it looks as though SoF will make over $250m by the time it is streamed and has some international release.
At present, investors are looking at about a $52m payout ($140m x .50 for theaters = $15m production =$3m marketing.)
Put another way, “Barbie” must now make around $800m to match that. When it’s all said and done, SoF’s profits will be around $110m meaning “Barbie” will have to make about $1.2m to match.
Nine days after release, Barbie is the fifth highest grossing movie of the year.
5 Barbie — Total: $578,802,851; US & Canada: $287,402,851 — 49.7%; International: $291,400,000 — 50.3%
Sound of Freedom is 20th and has no international gross.
20 Sound of Freedom —Total: $140,562,765; US & Canada: $140,562,765 — 100%
At its current pace, Barbie will get to second worldwide by Sept 1. Why this cash cow was not made before is beyond me.
This is just ticket sales. This movie will push new merchandise from dolls, to clothing to trinkets, etc. Then you have eventual streaming and DVD sales. This movie alone will be a $2 billion empire.
There will be no Sound of Freedom toys.
"Merchandising!...Merchandising!...where the real money from the movie is made!"
Unfortunately, there will be. The living breathing little children that the deep state allows to be trafficked as a result of their open border policies.
Excellent points!
Let’s hope!
