Sounds about right.
If they just had more money little Travon could learn. If only there were more programs for the disadvantaged little Kamika could be the brain surgeon she has always dreamed of being and make a good life for her four chillren.
Oh the huge manitee!

Those videos of the current yutes not knowing much of anything are depressing but I’m beginning to think quite accurate. At least for a good chunk of the population out there.

Despite receiving massive funding from the James Foundation along with local, state, and federal funding, the I Promise school’s “Black students and those with disabilities, are now testing in the bottom 5% in the state.”Hint: money has very, very little to do with learning.

Is my understanding correct that LeBron funded (himself and/or through fundraising) the initial build of the high school, but that subsequent costs were to be covered by the school district and local businesses and homeowners?

A lot of these kids are getting free tuition and housing at UAkron and my daughter said that most don’t appear to appreciate it at all. That they’re unappreciative and entitled.
To: dynachrome
Exactly. Guarantee the test changes next time and kids pass.

No rigor and no accountability. So the school is doomed to failure. One of the reasons Clarence Thomas is against Affirmative Action.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
