He ran the inspection point and then was chased for 25 minutes only stopping after the police deployed a spike strip and incapacitated. Sorry but these are important parts of the story. Also I’m not discounting the fact that the police officer should be fired and potentially charged.

Sometimes a trucker actually doesnt see the inspection area in time to pull into it, or traffic doesnt allow him to merge over to it. There is a “fine” for it and most of the time there are cameras that record it so the fine can be issued. It not a felony arrest situation.
