Marijuana washes ashore in Neptune Beach, police say

NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. – A large amount of marijuana washed ashore Saturday morning on Neptune Beach near Florida Boulevard.
A bystander called Neptune Beach police to alert them about a different type of “seaweed” that washed ashore.
Zach West was visiting the beach with his mother when he noticed the marijuana that looked similar to sargassum, causing him to take a whiff for validation.

Cocsine is an allkaloid compound. Weed will go bad. I know a guy that found an old, fairly large stash of weed in a little sea cave in Baja. He said it was lousy smoke, but not bad furl for a beach fire.

This was a fairly common occurrence here in the 80s..... back then we called it “seabo”I can't tell you the amount of times we dealt with that both on the beach and just drifting around. One time we hooked a buoy to work it and there was a large bag of weed taped to it.

In Breaking Bad they referred to that as a “dead drop”.
Party A drops off package without party B being around....party B picks up package without party A being around.....it alleviates the risk of both being caught together in the transaction.
Same thing happened at the Whitehouse a few weeks ago.
