I notice that a lot of these athletes have a habit of pounding their chest when they make a goal, good shot , tackle, etc.

That itself could stop their heart if it coincided with a heart rhythm point that is at the low part in the cycle.

Kids that have been hit by baseballs in their chest have had heart stoppages......Rare, but it happens.............
