Romanian ship damaged during Russian attack on Ukrainian port
“Economichna Pravda”

A Romanian ship sustained minor damage during a Russian attack on the Ukrainian port of Reni on the River Danube on the night of 23-24 July.
SOURCE: HotNews.ro, a Romanian news website, citing the Romanian Foreign Ministry
DETAILS: The Ministry said that representatives of the Consulate General in Odesa, which is temporarily operating in the Ministry’s central office, had investigated the incident with the Romanian ship in the port of Reni.
Early reports received by representatives of the Romanian Consulate from the Ukrainian authorities, the vessel sustained minor damage and continued its voyage.
The Romanian Foreign Ministry also said that no Romanian citizens were injured in the attacks against Ukrainian ports on the Danube.
BACKGROUND:
-Russian forces carried out an attack on Odesa Oblast on the night of 23-24 July. The Ukrainian military said the attack targeted the Danube port infrastructure. The Ukrainian military said that the Russian attack targeted Danube port infrastructure.
-The Russian attack destroyed a grain depot and damaged several other storage facilities. A fire broke out in a production facility.
-Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, said that six port workers had been injured during the attack. Four of them were hospitalised.
-Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said that Russia’s attacks posed a serious threat to security in the Black Sea.
Update on the conflict in Ukraine for July 26, 2023:
-Ukraine’s offensive nears the 2 month mark, having failed to breakthrough the security zone along the line of contact and reach the first of several layers of Russian defenses;
-Ukrainian losses are significant, Russia’s Ministry of Defense estimated up to 26,000 casualties as of July 12, 2023, many more have died since;
-Comments from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky indicate significant losses throughout the conflict and an inability to properly prepare for the current offensive;
-Ukraine has begun using bombings, drone strikes, and other forms of terrorism deep within Russian territory to compensate for a lack of progress along the line of contact;
-US security assistance packages for Ukraine reflect dwindling capacity to sustain combat in a high-intensity war of attrition;
-Allegations of Chinese support for Russian combat operations by supplying Russian troops with equipment and drones deliberately ignore the fact that Chinese products are making it into the hands of both Russian and Ukrainian soldiers on the free market;
-The Western media framing China as incapable of brokering peace because non-lethal products it makes are on the battlefield in Ukraine ignores Western nations positioning themselves to likewise broker peace (such as France) despite transferring weapons and ammunition to Ukrainian forces;
-With Ukraine’s offensive stalled, it is likely Ukraine’s Western sponsors will be preparing for their next move, be it an intervention of one kind or another, or shifting from Ukraine to the war it is attempting to provoke with China in the Pacific;

Matvei Ainyaurgin signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense, which promised Matvei a job in construction on the rear lines of Russian defense. Thus, he joined the Veterans PMC of the 55th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation. He was captured by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the east. In this voluntary confession, the prisoner told how Russian contractors shoot prisoners from private military companies and send them to the front line without body armor and helmets. Matvei calls such actions a betrayal. For more – watch a full interview with Russian POW.

Ukraine military leaders wasted armor on spearhead tactics.
When troops need individual tanks that each have drone support and anti-air (against: aircraft, drone, UAV) support, in order for the tank to be of service to, and in support of, Ukraine troops.
Ukraine troops carry anti-armor rockets but lack anti-air rockets.

European Commission proposes to compensate for grain exports from Ukraine by land
European Pravda, Ukrainska Pravda

European Commission proposes to compensate for grain exports from Ukraine by land
Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture, has proposed to compensate the transport costs of grain exports from EU funds if it is transported from Ukraine by land.
Quote:
“Russia will be the beneficiary of the situation because it will be cheaper than to pay for the grain from Ukraine transported to the Baltic ports, the cost of this operation will always be higher than what Russia can offer on the global market.”
Details:
The European commissioner stressed that the EU’s assistance in compensating for the cost of transit of Ukrainian grain through the territory of EU member states is an urgent issue since transportation by land is more expensive than by sea.
Wojciechowski assured that he would prepare a proposal for the European Commission to subsidise the cost of transporting Ukrainian grain at the expense of EU funds.
Background:
-Ukraine has been forced to export its agrarian products by land and river after Russia’s withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative and attacks on Ukrainian ports, with sea exports blocked l.
-US Department of State warned Ukraine that Russia may be getting ready for a false flag operation in the Black Sea amidst the attacks on port infrastructure in Ukraine’s south. James Cleverly, the UK Foreign Minister, warned Ukraine about this, too.
Why are two random guys there?
Where are weapons and backup?
