Cops have pulled whatever evidence they could from the “very cluttered” Long Island property of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann — and his family is welcome to move back in, officials said Tuesday.
It’s still unclear whether Heuermann killed any of his victims in the ramshackle Massapequa Park home, where he lived with his wife and adult daughter and stepson, authorities said.
“The evidence doesn’t point one way or the other,” Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney told reporters at a press briefing at the scene. “Nothing of note” was found when police dug up Heuermann’s backyard “as far as remains,” either, he said.

Who would want to?...................
A couple of Glade scented oil plug-ins and you’re good to go.
Yeh...like I would move back...
Where are they gonna go? Nobody’s going to buy the house. Maybe they can stay with family, but they probably cannot afford to abandon it.
someone would buy it. There are people who dont care, and twisted people who would buy it escpecially if they got a good deal.
Likw Walmart shoppers?
Probably buy the house, demolish it, build something new there.
For an architect, his house looked like shit.
I thought he was an interior decorator, he killed 16 Czechoslovakians.
Have the property exorcised, then burn it to the ground and sow the ground with salt.
That is the only way to purge and cleanse evil of this nature.

Other than Blackrock, who’d buy the place?
I’d rather burn the house down amd live in a cave in Oyster Bay.
The house of the Amityille Horror fame is just 3 miles from Rex’s house at 112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville NY.
The house known as 112 Ocean Avenue still exists, but it has been renovated and the address changed to discourage sightseers from visiting it.
In May 2010, the house was placed on the market with an asking price of $1.15 million. In August 2010, the house was sold to a local resident for $950,000. On August 21, 2010, the departing owner held a moving sale at the house and hundreds of people turned up for the event. They were allowed to go inside the house, but not to visit the upstairs rooms or the basement.
