It occurs to me that we could rid ourselves of the evil of today like Steve Dahl did with the evil of disco.
We should have a Democrat demolition night at Comiski Park

Ha. When I lived in Detroit, WRIF the local rock station had “DREAD” cards. Detroit Rockers Engaged in the Abolition of Disco. I fully supported that then, Now I’ll listen to pretty much everything from the era I grew up in.
As for eliminating the other side, I would disagree. We need enlightenment, and compassion. They truly don’t know the difference between any issue, they need to be taught. I used to have many friends on the opposite side of the political spectrum, ever since Obama they’ve for the most part have disassociated themselves with anyone who is right leaning.
Disco was actually ok looking back. Great fun songs with a good beat, upbeat and happy, not annoying angry and preachy.
Paired with hard rock it sure had it’s place.
The 70s were better...

And, the second game of the double-header with (my beloved) Detroit Tigers was not played yet marked as win for Detroit.
Roared at the Demolition of Disco and laughed my ass off when the Sawx had to take the L.
Evil of disco? More like stupidity spouted from a Disco Duck:-)
Got rid of disco, only to have it replaced with the malignant cancer of evil known as rap/hip hop, which STILL hasn’t gone away after 40 years.
I miss disco. :-(
