More and more it’s looking as if Putin’s Ukraine strategy is the correct one. Russia is solidifying it’s hold on 25% of the Russian speaking East, while landlocking Kiev. Leave the remaing 75% of the country to NATO as a vassal state. Let them pour a never ending amount of money and support keeping it solvent. It is becoming the Cuba of Europe and will eventually drain the EU.

Yes I said long ago that Putin does not want to annex or occupy the whole Ukraine because he can’t afford a welfare state on his budget.
