And that’s how Barbie is nuking Oppenheimer
☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️
Joe Biden will now hide all stolen classified documents and Hunter’s cocaine behind a pink Corvette
me likewise. I wasn't implying anything different.
I guess I was counting on a higher dollar amount as there were several Barbie/Oppenheimer (Barbenheimer) twin bills around the country. I would tend to agree that in a teen driven marketplace, Oppenheimer may be a second choice and yes, it’s 3 hours. The critics I’ve heard say that it does go by quickly. While I haven’t seen Oppenheimer, I do plan to. I would love to see the 70mm version. I do have an IMAX 70 mm screen in my area
(“Fat Man and Little Boy”)
It was pretty good.
Though I thought, reading the title, that it was gonna be about Chris Christie and Robert Reich
Gotcha. I made the mistake I thought you made.
Given Hollywood’s history, especially recently, you’re probably correct.
It’s also being pushed by HGTV which has been Woke for years now
Made a lot of OK shows unwatchable
I watched a couple of Tiny House Builders and then here came their LGBTQ agenda so I switched channels quickly
lol tagline
Yes, right in the headline it says they did.
Production ended for Game of Thrones in 2018. So let's say everything after 2018 from Hollywood is crap. With a few notable exceptions like Tom Cruise.
” I do like theater popcorn even though it costs a lot and horribly unhealthy”
You can’t get that pumped on so called Popcorn “Butter” just anywhere! LOL
I saw Oppenhimer last night. I would not expect it to do well with most of this country’s dumbed-downed movie goers.
It was very condensed but long.... would have been better as miniseries. If you did not know the historical significance of many of the characters,or the background story, it probably would be hard to follow. Every once and while the liberal tilt of its writers would surface. I though Edward Teller (father of the h-bomb) character was a bit cartoonish (I met an talked with the real Teller at a technical conference a few decades ago). The scene with Oppenheimer meeting President Truman was a bit bizarre, as well as the chanting of the Los Alamos team for Ope. Ive never been to meeting with a group of scientist and engineers that exhibited this behavior.
Overall, I would recommend, but not for everyone.
“Oppenheimer bombed in Japan”
Ugh!
Good. Then leave me alone. God forbid you have to deal with a handicap person.
That’s funny.
Barbie is anti-male, woke propaganda. The patriarchy takes over and must be destroyed. That’s literally part of the plot. Just a warning to those who might be unaware and fooled by the colorful trailers and wanting to take their kids.
An even better film about the Manhattan Project is the CBS television movie Day One, from 1989. Starring Brian Dennehey as Leslie Groves. I bought it from Amazon a few months ago. Excellent film with a stellar cast.
I hope to go tomorrow. I have been waiting for this picture as I am a big student of world History and want to see how this is presented.
“I want to see Oppenheimer during the week in 70mm IMAX. There are few seats left for next weekend.”
That’s where I’m headed in about an hour. It’s a long one, so I hope it’s entertaining.
Can’t wait to see it. The MI movies are good action. Much better than all the superhero trash.
