There are some people (not me!) who have an extraordinarily high threshold for pain. They may feel ‘something’, but it’s not severe pain. That could be either a blessing or a curse.
I’ve never been hesitant to request pain relief after a certain level has been exceeded. I stopped pretending I was Superman back in Kindergarten.
