This is a good summary of the now-ended "Grain Deal" whereby Ukraine was allowed to ship their grain to other countries, via the port at Odessa. In it, The Duran analysts go into the details of why the deal didn't work out, and the strategy that Russia employed so as to make sure that the West didn't get tempted to 'heat things up' with the deal now concluding.
Video is about 30 minutes, but, as usual loaded with facts.
p.s., I have posted in a while, but I figure some ‘objective’ analysis is needed so as to deal with the propaganda being posted here on a regular basis.
The Duran is a great source of accurate news. It seems the Black Sea is now a Russian lake, Ukraine is landlocked, and Europe is about to go hungry. If Africa runs out of food, Demented Joe will wave them into America (Europe will do the same), hasting our/their downfall. All this mess is brought to US by the Neocon war class and their willing, brainless imps who rattle around like noisy, empty barrels.
Get a Rumble sub. They should be broadcasting simultaneously, if they aren’t already.
“By the way, I expect the Duran guys to be thrown off YouTube soon. While their narrative almost always ends up being correct, it’s the wrong narrative.”
I’m with you. What kind of a country do we live in where information that goes against the government lies is allowed to be posted. MY GOD, what a HORRIBLE place to live in. Why can’t we live in Europe, where the Fascists simply SILENCE those who present alternative views (or at least have their bank accounts closed)?
Anyway, that’s why this post and my future postings of The Duran, will ALWAYS link to their website, rather than YouTube.
I had actually just got done listening to it. The Duran is a _great_ podcast with analysis not seen elsewhere.
Basically said the Russians knew the Ukes and the Euros couldn’t help themselves when it came to living up to a deal with them and planned accordingly.

I agree, although I try to keep my summaries from taking one side, as I’ll leave that to the warmongers.
In this case, yes, the Russian seemed to know how the West would react, probably better than the Neocons even knew, and stayed steps ahead of them...to the point of even having a response prepared when the Neocons said that allowing the ‘Grain Deal’ to expire would starve the Third World. The Russians said: No problem, we’ll ship the Third World our grain, for free.
Ingenious move as it will drive up the price of what remains for the rest of the world (meaning the countries sanctioning Russia), at the same time, since there is only a limited amount of grain available.
“Time to get a Magic Mug and a hoodie.”
LOL. For others, that’s inside talk for us Duran types.
This is what happens when one avoids research.
The countries sanctioning Russia are the major economies of the world. Both the US and the EU are major wheat exporters. Indeed, an important reason for the existence of the EC/EU was to keep agricultural prices UP, for the sake of farmers.
2023-24 harvest is coming in and projections are it will be a good one. The increase vs 2022-23 is greater than Ukraines exports.
I am not yet ready to issue a prophecy on this, as I did re “freezing in the dark” and nat gas prices. Still waiting for info. Not really my wheelhouse either. But let’s see.
We’ll see what the fallout is. But the bottom line is that some amount of grain will be lost from world markets now that Ukraine cannot use their shipping ports, and, on top of that, Russia will send much, maybe most, of their grain to the Third World at no charge (for obvious reasons), which will greatly tighten what the the ‘first world’ importing countries have available to them.
Given the corruption in much of the Third World, I wouldn’t be surprised if the governments there re-sell free Russian grain to the First World...so the end result may be what the Neocons predict, hunger in the Third World.
So, things will get a bit ‘interesting’ in that regard.
Great informative video to set things straight.

I agree - there were absolute DOOMSDAY PRICES for gas a year ago (as in the equivalent of $400/barrel oil, energy equivalent), but then prices crashed (attributed to a very warm winter). So your “Who the hell knows what will happen” is a very good analysis.
There’s no winter now and it’s still crashed. Gas spiked, but not for long. And that was before winter.
No gas problem this winter no matter what. That my prediction.
Almost all the “first world” are wheat exporters, if you count the EU as a block, as one should.
Only major exceptions are Japan and SKorea. But a different in wheat prices would be minimal to them.

Definitely. Good day!

Biggest exposure is not in the first world, definitely not in these trivial amounts. Worry about Egypt if at all.
“Biggest exposure is not in the first world, definitely not in these trivial amounts. Worry about Egypt if at all.”
Since Egypt ridded itself of the Neocon-Installed Muslim Brotherhood and now has a government that PROTECTS CHRISTIANS (Coptics, in their case), I expect Russia’s free-grain deal to certainly apply there.
It wasn't supposed to be that way. Throw the Russian Navy out of Ukrainian Sevastopol, bring Ukraine into NATO and voila, it's a WEF lake and Russia is landlocked and Putin becomes our bitch. And "we" were oh so close to making that happen, and then it all went south.
