Only fair if your waiter is the owner.
Sort of like the people who reduce the tip because the food was not seasoned as they wanted.
Not the waiter's fault.
Not the waiter’s fault.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It must then be the fault of whoever forced the waiter to work for such a restaurant.
A tip is based on the quality of the food, the waiter, the management, the time it took to be served, the time it takes to be served the check, the cleanliness of the restaurant, pricing and value, amd many other things.
So now it is the fault of the waiter's landlord?
Interesting concept.
A tip is based on the quality of the food, the waiter, the management, the time it took to be served, the time it takes to be served the check, the cleanliness of the restaurant, pricing and value, amd many other things.
Nope.
The tip is based on the quality of the service. Because that is the only thing the waiter, who is the one getting the tip, has any control over. The rest of that is just some much attempt at justification by people who should stick to fast food.
So if the kitchen is to blame for poor service, you agree the tip to the waiter should be reduced.
The waiter can only do so much to provide quality service. Oftentimes quality service is beyond their control.
If you as a waiter want a big tip for cold food… Go talk to the kitchen.
You want a big tip despite the fact management understaffed the place? Talk to them. See what they say.
You’re singing my tune.
“So...this is ‘Depression Budgeting 101.’”
Well, I know I’M depressed these days, LOL!
I am SO THANKFUL that my Dad & Grandpa were so good with money and taught me discipline, self-reliance, how to invest properly, etc.
Not a lot of kids get that kind of an early education.
“For me I charge everything and pay it off in full every month.”
Beau does that, too. He puts it all on his Cabela’s Black Diamond Card, or whatever. It affords his hunting/fishing/outdoor lifestyle addictions. ;)
But it IS FUN helping him spend all those perk dollars at Cabela’s every season. I usually come away with something cute in pink camo from Carhart, LOL! ;)
