This video talks about how many Russian commanders have been moved off the battlefield since the counter-offensive began. It exposes the dysfunction within the Russian Ministry of Defense. Those at the top are incompetent or corrupt.

This is good news then, right?
We can stop funding Ukraine and giving them all of our military equipment.
Plus no American sons and transgendered soldiers will die for Zelenskyy.
Clearly, Russia is losing, so we can call it a day.
Right?
It doe not mean Ukraine is not worth defending against Russian aggression. It is simply a reality.
The real news—The war will rage until the money dries up. Freedom isn’t the question—its bucks. Sad to say.
August 1914
Rather amusing since the war in Ukraine is not as yet concluded.

At his Amazon page selling his book, Gedes writes: "He [ Z ] has been likened to George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and Winston Churchill. These comparisons are not hyperbole."
Gerdes has made "647 videos" according to his YouTube site, so he spends a bit of time in this activity. His about page "Leadership" shows quite a number of audio podcasts and papers, so he is a busy fellow.
My favorite and telling take on him is his YouTube video " in which he tells us "why Republicans are more likely to spread Russian Disinformation, believe conspiracy theories, and support Russia over Ukraine."

So all you Republicans -- and, one supposes, conservatives -- Professor Gerdes is out to expose us!
“August, 1914.”
Interesting. My son says the same thing. They are lining up the dominoes to do World War 1 again, a souped up version.
So all you Republicans — and, one supposes, conservatives — Professor Gerdes is out to expose us!

Oh! The horror!!!
Interesting. thanks for posting this.
The most recent VDH commentary was very interesting read.
In the now much ballyhooed JR message re" rules," one finds his REPUBLICAN plea. It isn't quoted by the often-aggrieved Z's, but it is, "We want to be sure we come out of this with a Republican president, house and senate. The only way we can accomplish that is to unify the Republican Party. We can't destroy our own candidates. Whoever it is will need to pull us ALL together. Keep the ultimate goal in sight - Freedom! We are not here to fight each other. We are here as allies to fight for God, family, country, and FREEDOM!"

Compare JR's message with Professor Gerdes, who "tells us 'why Republicans are more likely to spread Russian Disinformation, believe conspiracy theories, and support Russia over Ukraine'."
Or perhaps you agree with Gerdes as he writes: "He [ Z ] has been likened to George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and Winston Churchill. These comparisons are not hyperbole."
You missed the /s apparently. And it was hardly a taunt.
To nations opposing Russia in the moment, ""We're going to destroy you. We're not going to take you over. We're not going to try to rebuild your country. You're going to end up -- yeah -- ..."

He has expressed other thoughts too.
"Is the Ukrainian war also creating the most dangerous anti-American alliance since World War II?" VDH in "VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Questions without answers about Ukraine", LVRJ, March 25, 2023
He adds, "Is the United States economically capable or politically unified or socially stable enough to wage a huge proxy war on the frontiers of a nuclear Russia? During the last comparable multibillion-dollar military efforts — the First Gulf War in 1990-1991 and the 2003 invasion of Iraq — the ratio of American debt to GDP was respectively 40 and 50 percent. Today it hovers at nearly three times that figure at 129 percent, given some $33 trillion in accumulated debt."
It seems the whole event is one enormous Gordian knot. I don't trust the Democrats to solve this, given their stellar withdrawal from Afghanistan, and especially given the money laundering of the princelings of Biden, Pelosi, Kerry and Romney long before this war broke out. Whether the Russians or NATO can solve this seems very uncertain. Who has the military solution?
That's why we are giving weapons, to degrade the russian military, so no American sons will die anytime soon.
How about we agree to send all the gay and trans soldiers to fight. That’s a win-win.
What will happen now that Ukraine has launched so many attacks on civilian infrastructure? Scott Ritter joins us to talk about Putin's next play and what it will cost Ukraine to "go slow" during the next stage of the counteroffensive.
