Agreed. Some would say it was an anti-military movie, but nevertheless, quite a riveting story.

Jan-Michael Vincent, loved his movies, RIP............... He was also memorable in another good movie that began in Marine boot camp, but set in WWII, “Baby Blue Marine.”
