“She was a beautiful girl, beautiful young girl. She had a family that loved her, and, and, and for the trauma that they’re going to have to endure for the rest of their lives, this is, this is visions they will never get out of their head,” Martinez added, according to KYMA.

That’s great she had family who loved her. Why in the sam hill was she “homeless”? Why didn’t this loving family give her a place to live, if they were so loving and caring? If she was going through a rough time, why didn’t they help her? God knows how dangerous the streets are. They were ok with her being out in the streets?

How much did they care about her before she got killed?

If they were so loving, why would they let her be homeless? Why was she homeless?

Sad story all around yet it appears that the family cares about her more now that she died tragically.

Perhaps, like many others, she was homeless because she chose to be.

Your post asked all the right questions. I asked myself these questions yesterday when I saw the article. The family ought to be quiet as EVERYONE will want to know those answers!! So much hand wringing and gnashing of teeth when they need to look in a mirror!!!

Some of this is click bate boiler plate. I’ve evicted some people with lots of family. They’re homeless because they and their drug habit have burned the bridges long ago. The family has changed their locks to protect their property. And you you have to ask how did she sleep through a mower approaching? Dead or stoned.

how do you know they didn’t? They have said they let her stay with them whenever she asked. You can’t force someone to accept what you offer.

I smell a lawsuit coming. They didn’t care enough for her to keep from sleeping in the park, but they’ll love her enough to sue Gallo and the lawn care company for millions. They love her a lot more now.

I’m pretty sure that the psych drugs she was on made her impossible to live with. These chronic homeless have been so damaged by major tranquilizers and ECT that they can no longer function. This problem is not mysterious. Psychiatrists create it because it’s profitable. They can demand public money to “solve” the problem they created. If you doubt this just go out and ask a homeless person about their “treatment” they received before their life went to hell.

Some people choose to be homeless. I knew a couple of men and one woman who lived that way on purpose.

And why was she sleeping in the weeds, if she was so loved?

exactly, this is just a BS attempt to get some $$$

the woman was almost certainly a drug addict and may have been already dead when the mower hit her.

We have to stay up all night because it’s dangerous to sleep at night. You might be raped, stabbed, murdered

So, think with me here. These city "fathers" who are destroying Modesto by showing tolerance and compassion to dope addicts are letting them run wild throughout Modesto. Yet, the lifestyle the addicts lead leads to the risks enumerated above (viz. rape, murder, assault and getting chewed up by a brush hog).

Yeah, that doesn't sound all that "compassionate" to me. The city leaders are creating an environment that gets people killed.
