Some people will do anything for a Disney experience. Knewz.com learned about one family which took an unexpected 17-hour drive.
Nathan Montanez simply planned to drive his wife and two children to an airport. He would stay home in New Jersey and work while they flew to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World.
But then came trouble. United Airlines canceled the flight 15 minutes before takeoff from Newark Liberty International Airport.

Just a grammer issue, here that the editor - do they use editors anymore? - should have caught. The wife and kids did not have their flight cancelled. United airlines cancelled the wife's and kids' flight.
That’s really a shame that there is only one flight between the New York metropolitan area and central Florida.
I’m guessing he is so hen pecked that spending 35 hours on the road is preferable to the years long screeching he was facing.

The real question is if United canceled the flight 15 minutes prior to takeoff, why couldn’t they get rebooked?
Hope this dad wasn’t straight, white, and Republican — which would also make him his own worst enemy.
