Two foreign pilots flew their Cessna dangerously close to boats on Horsetooth Reservoir in Colorado but then regretted their decision when they crashed the plane. The FBI got involved and there's more to this wild story than you've probably heard.

This eight-minute video describes how an Egyptian pilot flying a small plane with his brother as a passenger buzzed two boats on a lake and then crashed their plane. Afterwards, they claimed that the plane had mechanical trouble, but the National Transportation Safety Board found no mechanical problems with the plane and determined that it had crashed due to pilot error.
Although the county district attorney charged the pilot with menacing and reckless endangerment, the FBI, incredibly, determined that his action did not meet the criteria necessary for federal charges. The Feds failed to keep track of the pilot and allowed him to flee the country.

The whole video mentions that the pilot was a pilot on an airliner that was hijacked. He volunteered to stay with the plane so that the terrorists would let the passengers go. After the passengers got off he climbed out of a cockpit window and escaped.

This might be a non-story. I suspect the pilot knew some of the passengers on the boat, or were buzzing babes in bikinis.
It's more of a "Florida Man" thing but these guys may aspire to that.
