Blade runner is my favorite science fiction movie ever. The dystopian future was a vehicle used to explore much larger themes and questions.

The book is fantastic. Not a hard read, but a good one from Cormac McCarthy.

Exactly so and I think it is the best movie version of that book.

“””The Charlton Heston trilogy of, “Planet Of the Apes”, “The Omega Man”, and “Soylent Green”, are the best written and acted dystopian movies.”””
Heston sure brought the star factor to those and elevated them to great classics.

Blade runner is my favorite science fiction movie ever. The dystopian future was a vehicle used to explore much larger themes and questions. Well Daryl Hannah was in "Blade Runner" and still think the movie was boring.
She was in a movie a year later called "Reckless" with Aiden Quinn, and I was an extra on the set, good money back then for a kid in high school, but as Rush would say, she was a "beotch" on the set.
That's me on the right. I know my little claim to fame on the silver screen.

I loved the book and couldn’t imagine how someone could succeed in putting it on screen, but they did.
