4:00 PM PT -- The toxicology report findings have just been released. There were therapeutic levels of Oxycodone in her blood. A second opioid was found -- Buprenorphine -- which is to treat opioid overuse. Opioids can cause constipation, which can lead to bowel obstruction, which was the cause of her death. There were also traces of Quetiapine, an antipsychotic drug.
As for the bowl obstruction, it was in the form of a strangulated small bowel, caused by adhesions that developed after bariatric surgery (gastric bypass) years ago.
The coroner says there was no drug paraphernalia or narcotics found at her home when she was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital, Lisa Marie went into cardiac arrest. Her urine toxicology screen was negative. The report confirms TMZ's story ... Lisa Marie had a cosmetic procedure a few months before her death, after which she was prescribed opioids, adding she had a history of "overmedicating," and she was known to forget she had taken her meds and would take them again. The report adds Lisa Marie had a history of alcohol and drug abuse. Lisa Marie Presley died from small bowel obstruction ... this according to the L.A. County Coroner.
According to an L.A. Medical Examiner document obtained by TMZ ... the exact name of the condition is sequelae of small bowel obstruction. Translation -- Lisa Marie died of complications resulting from a small bowel obstruction.
This document is not the full report, and presumably, there will be toxicology results when that report is made public.

btw, Priscilla’s other kid is going to get part of the Presley Trust. Not sure Lisa would have wanted that but it was part of Priscilla’s settlement with her granddaughter.
In other words...a drug addict.
The same thing that took her dad.
I wonder if the bariatric surgery was for cosmetic or health reasons?
Hunter left them there?
Did Priscilla have some kind of leverage?
Looks like more problems with the gastric bypass than drugs but the bowel obstruction could be exacerbated by the oxycodone. Sounds like she was taking her medication responsibly?
I think it is highly likely she had bad genes for addiction and mental health issues. Then you have to add all the environmental factors.
It’s a miracle her actress daughter seems to be doing okay.
Elvis was one weird dude as it pertains to females. I am surprised he hasn’t been cancelled.
“In other words...a drug addict.”
You obviously did not read the short article.
She was on a drug to deal with addiction.
Also an anti psychotic
Quetiapine is also off-label for MS, since it squelches nerve firing; better for you than Xanax in that situation.
She was holding the trust hostage. She wanted to be buried next to Elvis which means someone would have had to be moved.
Riley agreed to let her be buried there but not next to Elvis. She also got a payout and will be paid as a consultant. I think her kid gets 1/9 of the trust.
Of course, going back to the initial threads about her illness and death, the ignorance regarding her death and COVID-19 were just that - ignorant.
As usual.
Daughter of Elvis, once married to Michael Jackson, Church of Scientology, etc. Poor woman sure had a screwed up life.
Oh here ya are over here. Furry was right. Furry was right. Furry here to call people ignorant for ...uh...who cares?
This Doctor believes there are some bad genes in the lineage. He also thinks that Elvis had Ehlers Danlos syndrome. There are some times in his movies I have to wonder when you see the way he bends his thumbs https://www.practicalpainmanagement.com/pain/other/brain-injury/elvis-presley-head-trauma-autoimmunity-pain-early-death
Who is buried next to him now?

I had the same problem, except that the adhesions were caused by another type of abdominal surgery. The severe pain and complications I had were misdiagnosed for years, until I stumbled upon a doctor who knew just what the problem was.
I had surgery to remove the adhesions, and now the pain is gone. I’m back to running marathons. (Okay. I do not run marathons. But the pain is gone and I watch marathons.)
Elvis isn’t buried there. He’s alive and living in Sante Fe.
