Truth hurts?
Thank you, Allegra. Prayers and family are the only things sustaining me.
These ppl whose deaths are being cheered are sons and daughters, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers. We just lost our 41 year old son last month and the devastation left behind is heartbreaking. I want this war to be over tomorrow so no more families have to suffer a loss like we did.
And for that I’m called derogatory names by the neocons here.
It’s obvious you weren’t here in the early 2000s
You wouldn’t know the truth if it bit you in your derrière, Sparky.
Sincere condolences for your loss. I do "get it." Best wishes to your family in a time of grief, as comes to us all in various ways. God bless.
I was in the class of 1998.
The Donbas was shelled and bombed for 8 yrs by their fellow Ukrainians. Over 14,000 were killed, mostly civilians.
I’m sorry you have a problem with facts. It was part of our negotiations with Russia in 1991 when the USSR was breaking up. But continue to cheer on this destruction and devastation. It’s certainly not your loved ones being killed or maimed so no biggie, right?
I was responding to the ghouls here who were excited about cluster bombs being opened up and used on Russian soldiers. Apparently it’s okay to wish for death to Russian men and boys. My preference is to stop the killing on both sides. I guess that makes me an anomaly on this thread.
Good thing none of your children are fighting in this war. Must make it much easier to cheer on the continued loss of life.
Thank you for your condolences. I don’t want another parent to ever go through the pain we’re experiencing. That’s why I want this war to end tomorrow.
“cheer on the continued loss of life.”
Absolutely not. Putin NEEDS to stop his murderous death and destruction invasion of Ukraine.
When the USSR self-destructed in 1991, Ukraine became and independent sovereign nation.
I am sorry for your loss as well as all this evil Putin invasion has brought to both the Russian and Ukraine military as well as the Ukrainian civilian population..
I’m sorry you have a problem finding a treaty that doesn’t exist.

Simply not true. This is pure Russian propaganda. Check the UN civilian casualty reports which are based on the figures given by the two so-called Donbas "republics." They do not support this claim.
Amen, good sir.
An anecdote, please. Many years ago my Mother had to bury our middle brother, and observed that it is "out of order" for a parent to have to bury a child. When a dear teacher of mine lost hers, my Mother and she spoke to reflect that their "club" of parents who lose children is among the hardest. It's a lousy club in which to get enrolled. Now as the last left of my clan, I fully understand. Time wears the edges off, but the ache abides. God bless.
I too am opposed to the use of cluster bombs on troop concerntrations. They are only now being considered because the aid in munitions always had no supply and resupply considerations anyone made as part of “strategy” and now with those supplies tight the cluster bombs are being considered to make up for their failiures.
From the start, Biden’s DOJ had no actual plan, just half measures intened to try to look like they were doing something - and yes I think it was correct to aid Ukriane. The supply shortages and the cluster bombs decision is a result of their non-policy non-strategy failures.
In your dreams.
Whatever, Sparky. Buzz off.
