Disgraced Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes’s prison sentence has been slashed by two years, according to updated Bureau of Prisons records
According to Holmes’ inmate information on the Bureau of Prisons’ website, the 39-year-old mother of two will be released on Dec. 29, 2032 — nine years, six months and 29 days after she checked into Federal Prison Camp Bryan on May 30.
Holmes, now known as federal inmate 24965-111, was initially sentenced to 11 years and three months in the minimum-security, women-only Texas prison. A Bureau of Prison spokesperson would not comment on the specifics of Holmes’ earlier-than-expected release.

She will be out of the slammer at a young age and able to start another grift. Maybe even a couple of scams.
We should do a FReeper poll as to opinions on if she will do just that. Or maybe she will become a preacher?
Sentence reduced for good behavior after two months in prison?
The videos of Biden walking through her fraud “headquarters” are priceless.
“women-only Texas prison”
Will pretend women like dylan mulvaney be allowed?
If she had been more modestbaboutbher claims, she might have still gotten rich and stayed out of jail.
Previous corruption - she shouldn’t have gone to a minimum security prison with an 11 year sentence. Sounds like they had to adjust the sentence downward to make the past actions look legitimate. So it looks like the corruption is spreading outward. Or perhaps upward.
Pretty woman privelage.
She will marry Kevin Costner, then divorce him while asking for 250K a month for her lifestyle…
She has billions stashed anyway...
Here’s the thing I don’t understand:
McCabe is caught lying to the IG. So did Strzok and Page, if I’m not mistaken. And I think Baker did, too.
In the real world, any case that any of these touched would be tainted, even after the fact, as the rules in federal court differ quite a bit than the state and local courts.
The Giglio Rule...laymen’s version - if you’re a federal agent and you got caught lying to your supervisor about your whereabouts or some other occurrence and they write you up for it and it’s upheld, you won’t necessarily get fired but there will be a file in your personnel record that you LIED. You will not be allowed to work a criminal case for the rest of your time as a federal agent. You credibility has been undermined and that can get a case tossed.
https://www.sspba.org/gen/articles/Understanding_Giglio___The__Death_Letter__For_A_Law_Enforcement_Officer_s_Career_894.jsp .... Subsequently, in the 1972 Giglio v. United States case, the court held that exculpatory evidence also includes information that can be used to impeach the credibility of prosecution witnesses, including police officers.
In a federal case, you have to fill out a questionnaire about your history. If you have something the defense can use against you, the case could be in jeopardy.
So...why aren’t defense attorney’s lining up to review any cases these people made? Why aren’t defense attorney’s screaming from the rooftops about how their clients weren’t given the same treatment?
Oh wait, the President’s son should be doing at least 36 months for lying on his ATF paperwork, but....NAH!!
America is not free. The country we grew up in is dead.
I’m quite disgruntled.
The distance from when I served in the USAF until now is vast.
Maybe she — like Allison Mack — had the goods on someone. I hope they both sang like birds.
Whenever I read ‘Theranos’, I see thanatos.

Sorry, but she’s serving a Federal sentence, no parole. Depending on the conditions of the sentence, she may be eligible for a year or so off the end of her sentence if she doesn’t cause any problems, but that’s it.
I think you can take anyone from their late 30s and up, if they’re not some brain addled liberal psycho who has the ability to show up at any and every protest, and they will say the same exact thing.
And the sad reality is, it’s a very small portion of the country that is accomplishing these things.
As much as many will say that this can’t be solved at the ballot box, I 100% disagree. What it takes is voters to actually pay attention to what politicians, at every level, are doing and saying. If they aren’t following through on their issues, no more “just re-elect me, I’ll do it next term”. Send them packing.
And it no one challenges them, harked to the movie, Brewster’s Millions. Vote None of the Above.
It all starts local and the people have to be willing to step up, not allow themselves to be corrupted by developers nor intimidated by any political entity above them, be 100% transparent with the voters- if a developer is offering an envelope let the voters know...if the county or state is trying to intimidate or coerce let the voters know, let the voters know everything that is discussed and being planned, and be the wrench in every gear....first answer is ALWAYS....NO
Isn’t it amazing that in 2023, the digital age where your computer can tell you anything you want, that local city councils, county commissions, zoning boards, school boards, still use the same old...zoning vote sign on the side of the road...knowing that no one pays attention to the damn things.
They haven’t developed or don’t want to develop a ‘blast email’ that they can send to their constituents to let them know what’s going on and ask for comments. Instead it’s...”We spoke about that big construction project, that every one hates, two months ago at the council/commission meeting, you weren’t there? Really? If you were there we would have loved to hear what you had to say. You know, the developer said that it’s going to being 10,000 jobs to the area. Isn’t that great news?”
Everyone is corrupt. The ones that stay true are labeled as the fringe and people believe the propaganda that swirls about them.
I would assume this is calculated on her behaving. You earn reduction in sentence as you behave.. not sure of exact ratio, but for every so many months nose clean equals a month off your incarceration
Ha ha, right.
That's if she's just an ordinary nobody crook.
You watch. She'll be out way before her sentenced amount, which IIRC was 9 years.
Here, they are assuming she gets the maximum possible time off for good behavior (generally true of white-collar offenders, and especially of women white-collar offenders).
If she gets written up once for a rule violation, that date on the website will change.
She’s only been in a month.
I don’t think anyone can behave that well to get two years shaved off.
