She will be out of the slammer at a young age and able to start another grift. Maybe even a couple of scams.
We should do a FReeper poll as to opinions on if she will do just that. Or maybe she will become a preacher?

If she had been more modestbaboutbher claims, she might have still gotten rich and stayed out of jail.

Previous corruption - she shouldn’t have gone to a minimum security prison with an 11 year sentence. Sounds like they had to adjust the sentence downward to make the past actions look legitimate. So it looks like the corruption is spreading outward. Or perhaps upward.

Here’s the thing I don’t understand:

McCabe is caught lying to the IG. So did Strzok and Page, if I’m not mistaken. And I think Baker did, too.

In the real world, any case that any of these touched would be tainted, even after the fact, as the rules in federal court differ quite a bit than the state and local courts.

The Giglio Rule...laymen’s version - if you’re a federal agent and you got caught lying to your supervisor about your whereabouts or some other occurrence and they write you up for it and it’s upheld, you won’t necessarily get fired but there will be a file in your personnel record that you LIED. You will not be allowed to work a criminal case for the rest of your time as a federal agent. You credibility has been undermined and that can get a case tossed.

https://www.sspba.org/gen/articles/Understanding_Giglio___The__Death_Letter__For_A_Law_Enforcement_Officer_s_Career_894.jsp .... Subsequently, in the 1972 Giglio v. United States case, the court held that exculpatory evidence also includes information that can be used to impeach the credibility of prosecution witnesses, including police officers.

In a federal case, you have to fill out a questionnaire about your history. If you have something the defense can use against you, the case could be in jeopardy.

So...why aren’t defense attorney’s lining up to review any cases these people made? Why aren’t defense attorney’s screaming from the rooftops about how their clients weren’t given the same treatment?

Oh wait, the President’s son should be doing at least 36 months for lying on his ATF paperwork, but....NAH!!

Those dates on the BOP website change all the time-- they're just the "estimated" release date.

Here, they are assuming she gets the maximum possible time off for good behavior (generally true of white-collar offenders, and especially of women white-collar offenders).

If she gets written up once for a rule violation, that date on the website will change.

Reduction in incarcerated time is a non-sequiture, the monetary/garnishing wages upon release will be quantifier regarding the actual punishment. Loopholes better be plugged, including whatever wealthy beta boy bucks she cons/seduces (Even after post-walled phase) her way into.

You serve 87% of a federal sentence and the release date is calculated off of that. It’s called a “projected release date.” She didn’t get “two years off”. That’s likely when she’d be released regardless.
