The 90 minutes or so I spent listening to Tucker Carlson’s Friday interview with Russell Brand was time well spent. Tucker was open and relaxed, and Brand was a generous host, making sure that Tucker had all the time he needed to make his points. I’ve transcribed a few of the key takeaways below, but I urge you to listen to the interview yourself, if for no other reason than the pleasure of hearing Tucker’s voice again.

Tucker, who always seems like a happy person, disavows anger at being fired:
You know, it’s not the first time I’ve been fired. And I think in our business, when you work for a big company in media, and you know you say what you think, there’s an expectation that you could get fired. So I’ve always had that, and I’ve always tried to take the long view, not just on media, but on life. All graves go unvisited in the end. [snip] And I don’t know why I was fired. I really don’t. I’m not angry about it. You can believe me or not, but I think you can feel that I’m not. And you know, I wish Fox well.
As a counter to the left’s relentless charge that Tucker is a racist, he speaks of how his upbringing and faith mean he cannot be a racist, at least not as the term was once understood:
So, my views about race begin with my religious faith, which is not very sophisticated but is sincere. And that begins with the belief, the knowledge, the certainty that God created people, that they’re not objects, they’re not machines. They’re not widgets in a bin waiting to be assembled by some company.

I have not watched the video yet, so I can’t comment on it until later.
You have to forward to the 40:35 point for the start of the video.

Haven’t watched this interview, but started watching some of Brand’s videos a while back. I think COVID was something of a wake-up call for him.
Brand is a WEF butt boy. Do they talk about Tucker being old buddies with Hunter?
” Tucker, who always seems like a happy person,”
I never thought of him as a happy person.
Russell Brand is very funny and slings sarcasm with the best of them. He walks the fine line to stay streaming on u-tube and also promotes his Rumble stream where he can speak more directly...I enjoy his output...more conservative and middle of the road opinion.
Bkmk
I posted this story with the direct link on FR on Friday or Saturday. The other good interview is Tucker being interviewed by Ben Shapero yesterday it was about a hour long, but well worth the time.
He his happy to be away from the Fox shackles and edits on his stories.
I love Tucker but his interview with Kanye West was painful. Yes Kanye had some valid points (about Lizzie) but that was it. Kanye is no intellectual. The icing on the cake is when Kanye said “I didn’t know my ex was friends with the Clintons” and there was a photo with Kanye, Kardashian and Klinton all smiles.
Kanye is a narcissist, runs hot and cold/broken clock; Tucker should have known better.
He probably just did it for ‘ratings’ an audience - a sort of made you look!
It’s an interesting interview. I thought it was funny when Brand starts talking at 500 words per minute, and Carlson starts laughing. I wish I could talk as fast as Brand.
I just watched it and also thought it was good.
Russell Brand = Mustn’t Watch
I’ve had enough smack addicts in my life for one incarnation, thank you very much.
Brand at one time was a rabid Obama supporter.
If he’s been red pilled, well good for him but I’m wary of him.
