Seems like the "final tour" of The Eagles has been happening since the 1994 "Hell Freezes Over" tour.
So long as aging baby boomers put up the big bucks for tickets, they are going to wheel these guys out in wheelchairs to play "Take It Easy" one more time!

Hopefully this frees up Walsh to do more stuff. My loathing of the Eagles is made stronger by how much they distract him from his solo, which I mostly love.

Saw them in Austin this past year - fantastic. About 3 hours of just the Eagles - no warm up band,

I heard that they were very good. Closest bet for me would be Charlotte. We were going to get tickets when they were in Greenville, SC, on the last tour, but they were outrageously priced. I’m sure it will be that way in Charlotte as well.

Well okay, at least it explains their hand cygnus.

Been my hope for years. Lost interest in the Eagles when they got rid of Felder.

I grabbed a bootleg of one of these concerts to hear how it sounded minus Glenn. And yeah, it was as I expected. It sounds like the Eagles with Vince. Nope! Saw them live with the whole band, no need to see this tribute band version.

Again? "The Long Goodbye Money Grab Tour."

I’ve never been able to get used to a sober Joe Walsh, but I’m happy for him.

I was in this business from the late ‘70s through the ‘80s. Worked for one of the biggest promoters in the country, production side. I’ve worked Eagles shows numerous times. I’ve worked so called farewell shows, more than once. I’ve got an embroidered 1982 Who Farewell Tour vest. These guys never say die, until they do. LOL

1974. Berkeley Community Theater. Saw them. The warm-up group was a fella named Billy Joel.
Neil Young was supposed to play some lead guitar for them but he was at the top of his game and would have been a distraction.
