Oleandrin is a cardiac glycoside found in the poisonous plant oleander (Nerium oleander L.). It is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 250°C and a molecular weight of 576.727 Da. It is insoluble in water and soluble in methanol, ethanol, and chloroform.

Oleandrin is a main phytochemical of oleander, and is associated with the toxicity of oleander sap. It has similar properties to digoxin, a prescription drug used to treat heart failure. Oleandrin works by inhibiting the sodium-potassium ATPase pump, which is a protein that helps to regulate the movement of sodium and potassium ions across cell membranes. This inhibition can lead to a number of effects, including increased heart rate, decreased heart contractions, and changes in electrical activity in the heart.

Without commenting on their work or its success, I will say that, in general, this is a use of the large language model that holds much potential for discoveries and invention.

No sale. Not interested. I am quickly not enjoying this life anymore. I’m much more interested in trying to be ready to go than I am in staying and probably doing a poor job of both.

“but it takes ten to 20 years and billions of dollars for a drug to make it to the market.”

You should check with Pfizer and the FDA about that. They may be able to help.
