FR question: Who cannot stand the sight/sound of Fox News AT ALL anymore?
Cable and interwebs ^ | Friday, July 7th, 2023 | AAABEST

I *mostly quit watching Fox after their election 2020 clownshow. I would however get updates on Sirius XM or perhaps zone in during a workout.

This seems different... not only with me. There's some type of Dylan Mulvaney VoodDoo going on since the Tucker debacle; I - and apparently legions of others - just cannot stand the sight or sound of ANY Fox programming any longer. Even when I "try" to listen or watch, I just wind up turning them right off.

Even the "good" ones, like compliant hipster Gutfeld, or Watters, who seems more like a climber than a serious person.

I even tried to click-in to Fox business recently while warming up - only to watch Liz Clayman giving mega-sponsor Larry Fink (Blackrock) a full-body tongue bath.. live. It was disgusting. She was disgusting. I once had her as a serious biz journo - but she's actually just a ginger news-whore.

Fair-weather establishment "friend" Kudlow has the 4PM, when markets close, but doesn't talk about markets - only politics and why Desantis should stop being mean to Disney.

Firing a host seems like a far more minor thing than stealing an election - but Fox is getting crushed far worse for the former.

What's going on here?

Mrs Submariner and I just got home from 30 days of motel traveling. The cable based TV was unwatchable. Fox News especially. Luckily we had an iPad to watch on at least a small screen. So glad to be home to our streaming services on the big screen.

I watched Fox when it first came on because it didn’t have all the same cr@p as the alphabet news did. Then it began to shift towards cr@p. I think I stopped watching news on TV about ten or fifteen years ago. It got to where I wanted to throw a brick at my tv, which would mean no movies for me, so I stopped watching the news on any channel at that point. I haven’t missed it at all.

I can only watch 20 minutes of Fox & Friends from 4:00AM to 4:20AM and the first 15 minutes of the Jesse Waters show. Anything more than that is nauseating

I agree, can’t stand any of the voices coming from FOX. I click off faster than a blink of an eye.

The cable news model is as dead as Kelsey’s nutz. You learn nothing from the Clowns who read the teleprompter for the entertainment of the over 70 crowd. Turn the slop off and save what remains of your brain cells.

The last straw for me was when they kicked Tucker Carlson to the curb.

Same here.

I am forced to watch it daily, as my mom has it on most of the time when I bring her gruel. It is the best produced, glossiest, right-leaning TV news. It is also often mind-numbingly stupid, repetitive and pandering.

“I watch “The Five.”

How you can stand to listen to snotty Jessica tarlov and that smarmy Richard fowler is beyond me......I could slap that smirk right off his face.

I often watch birds and the animals in my yard while eating. It’s quite pleasant. Beats the tv every time.

No tv news for me. FR is my go to. That way, my large screen is available for movies and sporting events.

Anything big that happens can almost always be found on the internet somewhere. I don’t think I miss out on much, unless I go on vacation. Funny, I try to unplug more often the older I get.

FOX is a shallow news source. They are controlled opposition until election day. Then they become the opposition and support the Democrats.

Some of their hosts took money from Pfizer to pimp the death jabs for pity’s sake.

They are the lazy conservative channel for lazy conservatives too lazy to seek out the truth elsewhere. Yet they think they are so well informed.

I know, I used to be a FOX watcher until I noticed their election day antics years ago. I finally noticed they left out relevant new just like the other guys.

I have turned it on a couple of times, and it’s like they are on a different planet, not covering what we know is important.

Feminized men and women who talk with their hands resembling a retard if the sound was muted, has ALL stations turned off completely with me. I get my news second hand by a handful of sites like FR and I’m good with it

I don’t watch TV news of any kind on a regular basis. I will look at news clips from them at times. No network or cable TV news ever again. All that is propaganda Government bs.

I cannot believe I have kept FOX off since November of 2020... I quit smoking on New Years Eve 1981... Both of these events in my life were very important milestones. I only scan the news using FreeRepublic and Citizen Free Press.

35 years ago I had a boss who did not own a TV. He borrowed a TV just so he could watch the annual tennis match at Wimbledon... I now understand why he pitched his TV! You don’t need FOX.

Me too can’t stand fake fox anymore. They are part of the New York/DC swamp they are done in my house. We don’t watch it at all. Not even Jessie waters. If he still on that piece of rotten corpse station, then he’s part of the problem too. All those conservatives need to join band together …they’ve got the name recognition and some money some $$ somewhere they can use to start their own network. Hannity is tarnished. He can stay there with Paul Ryan! They can rot there as far as the American people care.
