Your chart shows that even in the 19th century, “the golden age” of the Monroe Doctrine, the US intervened in Europe. But the number of interventions is less important than their size. And it is quite obvious that the US involvement in Europe in WWI, WWII and the Cold War was much larger than all the interventions in Latin America together.

My point is that the Monroe Doctrine is a dead letter and using it as an argument for or against something doesn’t make much sense.
We will see how much of a dead letter it is with the new Chinese military base in Cuba. Is it a good thing or a bad thing if it is a dead letter?
Re: 59 - MacGregor was a disruptor (good) while in the Army. His book “Breaking the Phalanx: A New Design for Landpower in the 21st Century” is a good read as he argues for the Army to update its organization and warfighting doctrine.
You are correct - MacGregor has been consistently wrong about Ukraine almost from the start. And just a “little” wrong but as your examples note - “hugely” wrong.
Please note that some FReepers that have been holding out MacGregor as on the mark are also some of the same FReepers that suggest that President Trump may have been trying to send a secret message to his followers based on how held a glass of water or that have held out Simon Parkes as an expert on anything, failing to mention that Parkes claims he is the offspring of a human / alien breeding.

I could quote all the times Denys Davydov has been wrong but it would be a complete waste of 24 hours of my time. For example, the big picture is that Denys has been lying the entire time, falsely portraying the Ukraine as winning when it was actually losing for many many months now.

You may be right, I’ve only seen two or three of his interviews but I can say inequivalently that he is a true combat leader. For someone who has never served attempt to denigrate a true hero in a vain attempt to appear equal or even smarter... pathetic comes to mind.
