I went through the SCOTUS decisions 2022-2023, and tallies
Samuel Alito | 81.1 |
Clarence Thomas | 78.4 |
Neil Gorsuch | 62.1 |
Amy Barrett | 54.1 |
Brett Kavanaugh | 43.2 |
John Roberts | 40.5 |
Elana Kagan | 16.2 |
Kitanji Jackson | 8.1 |
Sonia Sotomajor | 8.1 |
What do your scores indicate? Majority opinions written?
This looks like a ranking from most conservative to most liberal.
Explain it!
Are those percentages or what? WTH?!
What do those percentage represent? Is it a “got it right” score? Obvious questions abound if that’s the case.
On the radio yesterday they said something like in the last session that just ended, about 90% of the decisions were 9-0.
Now that is interesting.
There are sites that deal with the perceived conservative or not bent of the SCOTUS.
If they are correct, then our guys are doing fine.
And frankly, we have to realize it’s not the issue in general that a case presents, but what specific aspect is it? Many get mad when it doesn’t “go our way” when in truth, someone interested in rule of law should be happy if a case is thrown out/dismissed because it doesn’t have right jurisdiction, procedure, etc.
Your thread makes no sense.
IQ’s?
Yes, that happens sometimes.
Some cases have a clear liberal / conservative split. Others do not.
Same problem with women voters...they vote “causes”. That’s how we got to prohibition.
No, because Gorsuch is third. In the year he and Kennedy were both on, he was significantly to tge left of Kennedy.
The numbers must represent the number of pizzas ordered.
