They are concerned for his health because he has been held in solitary confinement. They have so much evidence, I don’t see how they could find him not guilty.
I don’t see a current thread on this trial happening right now. A friend asked me to opine on it so far. From my chair, the Prosecution is so far null, nada, zero - each witness is admitting their testimony does NOT tie to defendent, Richard Allen. 3 eyewitnesses describe 3 completely different men and do not ID defendent, lots of people at the bridge that day, no DNA from defendent at crime scene, no DNA from victims at defendent’s house/car, bullet cannot be replicated in defendent’s gun, and on and on. I would never convict someone on this cr*p - but the web is full of people who see guilty.
PS Richard Allen might suffer from schizoid, schizotypal, or old-fashioned borderline psychosis (Girl, Interrupted). Like autistics or dementia sufferers, they function well when the guard rails are in place: home, wife, job, small town, slow place. But add a large stress, and their very thinking, and then speech, goes sideways. W-Posters are complaining today about the police interviews that Allen does not directly respond - his sideways answers are about underlying thought process issues, push too hard it will be psychosis. In solitary he could not stop the runaway train of confused thoughts, no guardrails, they had to give him injected Haldol to straighten out his thinking, speech, behavior - a normal person not needing that drug would sleep for a week after that shot. But of course the Prosecution has found a quack to say he was faking. I am shocked that all those self-proclaimed loving Moms of autistics want to hang Allen and do not see the divergent thought process behind his peculiar answers.
All those times he has confessed makes me think he has some kind of mental disorder. Hubby thinks they’ve shown him not guilty so far.
I haven’t seen anything but I didn’t search for it. I thought about it today. What channel are you getting updates on?
People who see guilty want it to be guilty.
