“MassDOT prohibits the display of the confederate flag and similar paraphernalia and has informed the contractor that they will not be allowed to perform further work until steps are taken to remove the flag,” MassDOT said. Is this written in the law somewhere? Did they really have time to come up with crap like that in the Massachusetts general assembly, legislature or whatever the heck they call it up there ? Or is this something that MassDOT has just created for this particular incident ? Kinda like what the Bad Attitude Towards Freedom and Equality group does with Firearms.

So does this mean that one cannot have/display a crack pipe with the Below the Masey-Dixie Line Flag/Logo on it ?
So glad that I'm a DAMNED YANKEE !!! (for those that don't know what this means. I was born in Yankee Land and moved to the South and never went back up North.)

Was it an actual, genuine Confederate flag?
Or was it cloth material made to imitate a real Confederate flag? In other words, a false Confederate flag?
Or was it something just flying in the wind that somebody said they thought, because of the way the light reflected, it reminded them of a Confederate flag?
Are there actually rules in that state that prohibit displaying items that are not real items but that nonetheless trigger sensitive people?
