Chattanooga Goes Brave New World
American Thinker ^ | 24June | Scates

Politically, the rank-and-file voters tend towards conservative values (although there is a hefty, and growing, liberal segment).

So imagine my surprise the other day when I read that Chattanooga is one of the first two cities in the U.S. slated to become one of the World Economic Forum’s “15-minute cities.”

As you surely know, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is Klaus Schwab’s globalist fantasy, the realization of which means we peons will ‘own nothing, and be happy.” In short, it’s Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, updated.

s someone going to show up at their homes with a gun and demand they stop doing this?

No

They’ll just modify the zoning laws and raise taxes to a point where you’ll be forced to sell and live where and how they want you to.

What I’m seeing, outside of Atlanta is, liberals that don’t want any part of this and the ability to work remotely.

First they move to the suburbs. Then they move to the small, semi-rural towns(where I live) and bring all their liberal bullsh*t with them.

Folks like me don’t need Starbucks and any other ‘city’ amenities. That’s why we chose to love where we did. But not the liberals. They want their ‘amenities’ and away from the cities.

Liberals can screw up anything

15 minutes to walk/jog/run a mile and a half

So in the Air Force, if you can jog a bit faster than a brisk walk for 15 minutes, you are considered "fit"?

But more likely perhaps, is a scaled-back version. “Liveable” communities that have shops for necessities near-by, but still allow people to work and shop outside the 15 minute walking radius.

A 15 minute walk for the average healthy individual is a mile.

That means that a person's whole life revolves around an area a mile in radius from their home.

If you abolish internal combustion engines and fossil fuels, then mandate electric vehicles that no one can afford and the national grid cannot support, the obvious effect is imprisoning the dumb masses in 15 minute villages.

The initial push to redesign every suburb or hamlet into 15 minute communities in a futile attempt to assuage a feared revolution against the Golbalist WEF idiots, reminds me of the Jim Crow promise of seperate but equal.

I'm not a number, I'm a free man!

‘World Economic Forum’s “15-minute cities.”’

Hey, you don’t need no steenken car or air conditioner or gas appliances or gas water heater or gas furnace and all the stores you need are within walking distance to your cubbyhole ... as a matter of fact you probably don’t need air if you’re on the Gates depopulation list. Oh, sorry. I gotta go cause I’m late for my Chilean Sea Bass dinner. By the way if you’re still around I hope you enjoy your algae and bug dinner.

Crofton, Maryland is one of these Types of cities. It’s awesome. I think people need to see them before complaining once again About something they are clueless over.

In NYC and the surrounding bergs most people do their shopping and go about their daily lives within a mile of their homes.

“Is Chattanooga a nice place to live? Nicer than Memphis even? I’ve never visited there.”
Chattanooga was a very nice city when I lived in Tennessee several years ago. Memphis has always been a craphole.

That was our yearly fitness test!

aAnd, that was until I left in 1980.

You see, in the days of olde, when you were assigned to either to South Vietnam or Thailand, there were the Security Police’s Base Security branch. Ii was the base suppport functions,i.e., transportation, supply, and administrative personnel that ‘shored up’ the base Security guys with assignments as ‘security augmentees’.

Outside of Base Security, USAF personnel do not handle, fire, or maintain firearms.

"Surveillance (using facial recognition) is a critical component of the 15-minute City because it allows for the monitoring of non-compliant citizens."

The sales of those Groucho Marx eyeglasses will go through the roof.

On the other hand, thousands of people wearing a SloJo Biden mask would also be a fun way to tweak these central planners.

They are in China and have started implementing them such as in Oxford, UK, whereby they have partitioned the city with gates and you are only allowed to drive anywhere outside of your section 2 times a week without special permission. They have cameras to scan your license plates, face, etc., and the idea is that you can walk anywhere you need within 15 minutes, so your “territory” is really just a few square miles.
