While surfing the web I've come across images of celebrities (mostly women), AI generated images, many of them in compromising positions and many with little or no clothes on.
My question is how is this "art" allowed, someone is using AI to create, in many cases, convincingly realistic nudes of women, celebrities that can be seen in films an on tv.
Is this sort of thing covered by the 1A or is there so much of it (and yes there seems to be a great deal of it), that it cannot be stopped.
I cannot imagine that some of these young women would actually approve of images of themselves, in positions that seem to show them bearing everything God gave them.
It's a weird thing but I suppose it's just one of those things that folks take for granted now.

Odd as it sounds, I think this is part of Deep State manuevering. I haven’t seen the pics you speak of but others have noted that the public is now being ‘educated’ about ‘deep fakes’ in order to prepare for released video/audio of bad actors like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden committing crimes. The Deep State will simply claim they are as fake as the AI images you are seeing, and rely upon the messaging to try to convince the public that evil MAGA used AI to fabricate incriminating evidence.
Another FReeper, Ymani Cricket, noted a gas pump displaying PSA’s along with commercials, and there was a ‘vocabulary word of the day’ offered, which was ‘DeepFake’. The PSA explained what it meant - how about that? Jane and John Doe ‘need’ to know what Deep Fake is for their daily vocabulary....hmmmmmm
Do you have a link to any of those AI images; I can’t even visualize how that’s done.
Even if these women could sue it’s the internet and the companies doing it may be in the Cayman Islands or wherever.

OK, I did that, and all I’m getting are iPhone pics/ artwork/ web design etc... original images by a guy named Michael Ries. Are those images AI?
It has been going on for a long time, but it required work by a graphic artist before and was hard to do well. It was photoshopping a famous face onto someone else’s body. The new AI tools have made creating these fake pictures extremely cheap and easy.

Yes, it is. If I can make a painting of a celebrity without their permission (and I can), then I can make a digital image, or even a digitally altered video of that person without their permission. Now depending on how I used that “art” that I created, I may create some liability for myself that could be grounds for them to sue me. But as far as criminal law goes, I have done nothing wrong.

Yes, but that power is not a technological power. Read the entire chapter 13 of the book and you will see that the power being spoken of in that chapter is miraculous, not technological as many have wrongly interpreted:
Verse 2: The first beast receives his “power” from the dragon (Satan):
“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
Verse 12: The second beast exercises the same “power” as the first beast:
“And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”
Verse 14: Reveals that the second beast has the power to do miracles:
“And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”
So the image moving and talking isn’t technological, it’s a miracle, a supernatural act, just a miracle that is worked by Satan instead of by God. The entire world will not be conned by some clever technological fraud like the Wizard of Oz. They will see a legitimate miracle, only they will not realize it comes from Satan instead of God.
I thought it showed Trump hugging Fauci or something. whatever, all the 24 election cycle will be is nothing but misinformation upon misinformation.
