Former Virginia state Sen. Glen Sturtevant was projected to narrowly defeat incumbent state Sen. Amanda Chase, who has described herself as “Trump in heels,” in the GOP Virginia state senate primary Tuesday.
The Associated Press called the race for Sturtevant around 8:55 p.m. ET.
He previously served as a senator for the state Senate representing the 10th district until 2020 after he lost his reelection bid to Democrat Ghazala Hashmi in 2019. The state of Virginia redrew boundaries due to redistricting, making the primaries the first election with its newly formed districts.
Sturtevant defeated Chase, the incumbent of the 11th district, in the GOP state Senate primary for Virginia’s 12th District. Chase was censured by her colleagues in the state Senate after she attended a rally for former President Trump in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021 and later praised the rioters who breached the Capitol soon after.

Was this a Trump endorsement or simply a Trump wanna be or fan?
Without an audit, we don’t know if this was a loss...or something else.

I can’t find Trump specifically but a trump support group did. She definitely supported trump by even attending January 6th.
Yes, she was a bit over-the-top on J6, called for Trump to support insurrection.

.....
you didn’t see any of the youtubes that were posted all over the internet in the week of J6. They were all taken down.
Vote results are like polls. We can never believe the results. The reported totals are just numbers where no one should have faith in the outcome of any election. Whether there was cheating or not is not relevant, because we will never know because of pervasive cheating. We know cheating is built into a completely corrupt voting system.
A Trump followers but I have not heard he endorsed her.
I repeat you

Virginia has a long history of car trunk ballots. Ddemocrats counting after hours is not new. It use to just be that supposedly the democrats were slow to report but in actuality they were holding back to see how many fake ballots to inject for the win.
Fix 2020 and punish punish punish the enemy.
She sought a Trump endorsement in the 2021 Virginia governor primary. Didn’t get it. She did get Michael Flynn and Roger Stone.
Are we tired of “winning” yet?
I’m not seeing repentant democrats. Are you? The sinking economy, higher prices and inflation are not having the same effect they would have had years ago.
In this case it wasn’t lack of voting as much as gerrymandering.
Haven’t followed VA, but almost certain the new district was drawn up purely to take her out.
That's quite a neat trick for a "gerrymander" to pull off all by itself.
The far left is taking over Virginia. Whether by fraud or by actual leftists moving in and voting more than moderate democrats and conservatives, the progressives are winning in that state as they are defeating even the usual liberal democrats. The GOP is falling down on the job in get out the vote endeavors and by not monitoring for fraud at the ballot box and on the voter rolls.
Possibly. Isn’t Virginia a dominion state? Did she loose at 3am
No it’s not that neat of a trick.
You are naive if you think they don’t know the voting trends down to the street any longer.
It’s not remotely hard. I have 2 districts, 1 is high MAGA, 1 is High Establishment, I can without breaking a sweat redistrict those 2 districts to a point where that MAGA majority is now the minority in both districts.
It’s the Old Dominion state.
Dominion voting machine state
