Chef John Mountain took to social media on Tuesday to declare that people who don’t eat meat and other animal products won’t be catered to at his restaurant Fyre in Connolly in Perth’s north.
“Sadly all vegans are now banned from Fyre (for mental health reasons),” he shared on social media.

The ban was reportedly sparked over a fight with a customer over vegan options at the restaurant, with Mountain exasperated to the point of banning all plant-based diners. The celebrated chef, who has worked with Marco Pierre White, said the argument started when a young woman reached out before visiting the restaurant to ask about vegan options.

How many vegan restaurants offer meat options? None? Fine, then meat restaurants don’t have to offer vegan options.
Exactly.
Leftists always want to be pandered to and have a full choice of options wherever they go but don’t want to extend the same courtesy to others.
I can’t imagine what a PITA it must be to handle all vegan food with special pans, plates, utensils etc.
Not worth messing with.
Good for him. It’s unreal the requests I have overheard customers make in restaurants. It’s not just vegan stuff either. Read the damn menu. If you don’t like it, leave.
Now I’m going to go in whatever vegan restaurants I happen upon in and go in demanding they serve me meat.
It’s like going to a BBQ joint and wanting a salad. You’re at the wrong place.
How hard is that to figure out ??????
That’s because lefties are nothing but spoiled brats.
Thank God Cole Slaw aint a salad
It is her religion and she wants everyone to acknowledge her sainthood for only killing plants.
Perth is a long way to go from where I am but if I’m ever there, I’d love to have a giant steak at this restaurant.
Yup.
Entitlement mentality control freaks.
This reminds me, try ordering a sandwich at Primanti's Brothers (the original one in Pittsburgh's Strip District) and ask them to hold the cole slaw. You will get the biggest dirty look, if not verbal insults. Hey yinz, it ain't called an "all-in-one" for nothing.
I don't understand how vegans can expect to walk into a steakhouse (or any standard restaurant with meat on the menu) and demand vegan options.
Pissy bitch can go virtue-snivel elsewhere.
Yes, the menu is made from wood pulp and soy based inks. But all the food in the restaurant has meat in it.
Vegan ain’t FOOD...it’s what food EATS!
