Okay, what is the backstory? There’s obviously more to this story than the raid and seizure. It started with the IRS so I presume he wasn’t filing or paying taxes? Was their some money laundering or something else going on. And did they follow the money and find it was involving sell of firearms, which then necessitated the ATF? We’re only seeing the end of the story here, what led up to this?

Well, we can say that they went after Trump on 37 technicalities and not actual breaches of the law. There is no reason they couldnt have used technicalities to go after this guy as well.

That’s my point. Was there or is there a crime being committed. Or, are they trying to hound this guy out of business administratively.

My money is on the store owner creating pro-2A memes.

The article doesn't make clear exactly why this guy was targeted, but he's been surveilled for about two years. Evidently he does a huge online business. Perhaps he's been caught in some sort of financial finagling, or selling to buyers Big Brother disapproves of. The involvement of the IRS suggests $$$ is involved; the ATF was for "backup." And yet they didn't confiscate any of the owner's financial records. They took only the 44?? forms that purchasers are required to fill out and submit -- they confiscated every last one of them.

With the left, there may have been no real leadup- look at how they enacted idle of the night raids on Trump peeps, armed to the hilt, msm all informed before the midnight raids etc so everyone could see how “powerful” the swat teams were etc. The ,eft love to “send a loud clear message” with acts like this- to frighten anyone thinking of opposingmthem in the future.

Yes, good point. Wise and prudent, as always.
It’s pretty rare that the Gov makes mistakes or does anything illegal or tyrannical so we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here.

Yep!
Maybe the persons in the store are really chicom spies...
Maybe there is child porn in the gun-purchase wrappings...
Maybe this store was the source for the chicom virus...
Maybe the store makes & sells meth...
Maybe the store has been selling quad-50 mounted on VWs...
Maybe an ATF official needs the raid to guarantee his annual bonus...
