It will be interesting to see if there is some administrative rule which allows seizure; or, if a judge had to issue a warrant for the seizure of those records. In any event, anyone who bought a gun from this guy is in for a "Deep"-State Colonscopy!

Hey, didn’t that take place in the original Red Dawn movie? I think so.

The Great Falls Police Department confirmed it was informed about the investigation and provided security, according to KRTV.

They bypassed the County Sheriff?

Okay, what is the backstory? There’s obviously more to this story than the raid and seizure. It started with the IRS so I presume he wasn’t filing or paying taxes? Was their some money laundering or something else going on. And did they follow the money and find it was involving sell of firearms, which then necessitated the ATF? We’re only seeing the end of the story here, what led up to this?

I have been proposing all GOP Presidential candidates should commit to the following executive order on day 1

“The FBI will not carry, store, train on weapons of any kind, effective immediately”

This can include the IRS and ATF

If they want to conduct armed raids they can coordinate with local police or US Marshals.

IRS & ATF will probably be announcing charges and idictments of individuals identified from this raid in the next couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, the FBI has had the Hunter Biden laptop for three and one-half years . . .

Great Falls gun shop re-opens after a visit from federal agents

GREAT FALLS — A Great Falls gun shop owner says he was targeted by federal agents Wednesday. In fact, he claims that he's been in the crosshairs of the government for a couple of years now.

“At 7:30, I came in and they pulled in behind me with 20 heavily armed agents,” said Tom Van Hoose, the owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters.

Van Hoose says for two years his Highwood Creek Outfitters gun shop has been the subject of surveillance by state and federal agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, the State of Montana and now the Internal Revenue Service.

“The fact that they think we make so much money as a gun business that they had to come investigate all the thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of dollars whatever it is we supposedly absconded with, anybody that knows the margins in the gun business knows they’re not that high,” said Van Hoose.

Van Hoose says all he was told is that his business had been reported. He doesn’t know by whom, or the reason. He thinks it’s part of a nationwide pattern and feels it’s political.

“I can only assume that it’s because of the style of weapons that we have and the press that’s so against them,” said Van Hoose. “The current administration seems to be hell bent on getting those guns out of the hands of average Americans.”

Van Hoose says the agents were cordial and professional, but still felt invaded and now has lost nearly a whole day's revenue.

“I got 30 minutes of operating time in and made one $16 sale,” said Van Hoose.

Van Hoose says his shop has a good relationship with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Fiearms, which was also present. He says because his shop carries “fun guns” like AR-15's and AK-47s their level of licensing draws more scrutiny.>p> “We have a reputation of dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's because there's so much legal fun to be had,” said Van Hoose. “It's just not worth doing things that are going to get you in trouble.”

Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter says there is no law stating that the sheriff must be notified prior to any such investigation by federal agents.

The Great Falls Police Department was notified of the investigation and provided security.

The Montana Department of Justice said that it had no involvement in this incident.

An IRS spokesperson confirmed to MTN News that the agency was at Highwood Creek Outfitters on official business, but declined to provide any details.

Lately a great percentage of criminal activity is coming from the authorities, like from the DOJ and FBI and IRS and many local government agencies.

When people believe that it’s all justified, that’s when the country is finished as a constitutional and law-abiding country.

Yet, most people fear acting against such actions, which then further emboldens those authorities to take more of the freedoms of the people.

They seized the 4473 forms every gun buyer fills out when they purchase a gun at a licensed dealer.

Probably going to check if the info on the forms is accurate and truthful. You know, like they’ve done with the 4473 Hunter Biden filled out by hand, and signed, where he stated he wasn’t a user of illegal drugs.

Don’t overreact until you hear the facts. The wild ones on here have to be Federal instigators. The IRS involvement has to mean they believe someone owes taxes and apparently refused to pay them. Wait until the charges come out, then report back.

Where are Montana Senators, Steve Daines and that other guy . . . yeah, John Rotundo . . . er, Tester?

Why 20 heavily armed agents? Couldn’t two politely ask for the forms? (although not legal). Maybe they could have a couple younger guys carry the boxes of records. But, no. This is to intimidate. This is tell you that they can come, at any time, and without notice. Mostly importantly the message is that you are outnumbered and cannot do anything about it.

This is GOOD news. For far too long, we’ve consented to the destruction of the 2A by walking in to gun stores and submitting to unconstitutional background checks. FFLs are the worst because they are a-ok with trampling gun rights so long as they make $$$ off it. Time for them to realize what giving up their rights for money does, exactly.
