This price range supports the idea that the elite do not want people driving on their roadways, and only the elite will have such things as cars.
P.S. This is an excerpt. Much more at the article link above.
General Motors.....Say isn’t that the company that the gov’t STOLE from the Share Holders and gifted to the Labor Unions?...
I’m not feeling it.
Meh. I’ll look into this $300,000 Cadillac in 10 years. When it’ll be worth $30,000.
If even that.
I understand from a Cadillac salesman that there is considerable pushback from Cadillac customers regarding Cadillacs all electric plans.
But my 2016 CTS-V recharges in about 5 minutes, goes 200 MPH and has a 300-400 mile range between recharging the fuel cell. It is only $150K as equipped...
I just picked up my new SS redline on Friday to add to my fleet
Have fun suckers
Amending my post.
This is an EV. It’ll probably be on its second or third battery replacement 10 years from now.
Thirty or Forty Thousand Dollars a pop.
Plus this car is BUTT UGLY! I’d never pay even $30K for it unless I knew I could flip it the next day for a profit.
Is your CTS-V a wagon? I would mortgage the house for one.
I looked it up...
Over its four years of production, only 1,767 CTS-V wagons were built. Just 514 of them had stick shifts.
Yes, like all other Cadillac CTS-V models, the Cadillac CTS-V wagon is supercharged. Specifically, it is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine, letting loose a whopping 556 horsepower with a rear-wheel-drive configuration.
And a used one will be worth $75,000 in five years.
Making and Selling are two different things.....................
My Ram Built to Serve truck goes 850 miles between Diesel fillups with 30mpg that take 5 minutes, is far more comfortable and quiet, and can do things no car can do. Oh, and it is far less than half your car’s price at $61,000.
I’ve driven the latest Caddys. They suck. They are cheap rattle traps. The suspension is clunky, too. My Toyota Corolla drives better than a caddy.
The Celestiq has a floor-mounted battery pack...Cadillac claims the battery will regain 78 miles of range in 10 minutes. That's enough time for a bathroom break, provided you didn't recently eat at Taco Bell.
Needs tailfins.
Sure, a Caddy is going to turn up at PB Concours - with faded plastic parts and trim pieces dropping off when you open the doors.
It used to be there was nothing prettier than a brand-new Cadillac, and nothing uglier than a 3-year-old one. Nowadays, the only thing uglier than a brand new Caddy is one that isn't brand new.
Grill appears to be made of the same material as the “carbon fiber” shift knobs at AutoZone.
Looks like crap...
It’s a 4 door sedan, but same specs and yes it hauls ass!!!
