A transgender model who was banned from the White House on Tuesday after going topless at a Pride Event where she met President Joe Biden has complained about companies shying away from LGBTQ+ influencers.
Rose Montoya, 27, unhooked the top of her dress and grabbed her chest on the South Lawn on Saturday, as someone shouted, 'are we topless at the White House?'
Video of the move went viral on social media, and was condemned by the White House.
Montoya was unrepentant, saying it was not illegal to go topless in Washington, D.C.
She told The Guardian, in an interview published on Tuesday, that she was 'disappointed' that companies were becoming reticent about supporting Pride - in particular in light of the Bud Light controversy.
'I've spoken to a lot of my trans friends and colleagues, and we've all noticed less brands seeking partnerships and smaller budgets for Pride campaigns,' said Montoya.
'It's disappointing.'
In March, Bud Light partnered with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The impact was catastrophic, and wiped billions off the brand's value.
The parent company, Anheuser-Busch, has seen its stock price and market cap decline by roughly 17 percent from its March highs as of Tuesday night.
Montoya said that brands were capitulating to a loud, angry mob.
'I'm disappointed to see brands caving to bullies,' Montoya said.
'When it comes to Pride, I need to know if a company is doing good in the world and actually showing up for our community.

To be fair, he might be right because I don’t know any place in the US where a guy can’t take his shirt off outdoors. He’s a guy so technically he can’t be prosecuted for taking it off.
It’s a conundrum, how do you say a dude can’t take his shirt off when every other guy can, even though he dresses like a girl and has fake tits. The whole thing hurts my head.
