Three earlier threads were posted about this athlete's death. Now, the coroner has reported the cause of death. Both she and her baby died when she went into labor at eight months.

Very sorry to hear of the death of the mother and baby.
I wonder if she were receiving regular pre-natal care? I know eclampsia can come on very quickly.
I had wonderful, regular pre-natal care - but started hemorrhaging after giving birth to my daughter, doctor told me later they weren't sure at the time if they could stop the bleeding. Scared me to death and no reason was ever given.
