You are reminding me of my daughter when she was young and ate some berries off of a bush in our starter home front yard. I don’t even remember what they were, but yes, I had to call poison control for that incident. I was worried that Children’s Services were going to come for a visit. It was the second time that I had called Poison Control. Both times I had to make her throw up.
I’m fortunate. No authorities ever visited. She is getting married 3 weeks from today. Destination wedding for everyone but the two of them. Heading to the mountains in Oregon. Planning is coming down to the nitty gritty, so I will probably be posting less the next few weeks.
Today I took a shot at decent weather to get a few more things planted, all flowers. It took me a while to find impatiens this year, but I eventually did, and now they are in a cart by our fire pit, just in time for lightning bug season. Yay! One of my favorite times of the year! On a clear night, it looks like the stars are falling out of the sky, twinkling all the way down! It’s just beautiful to watch the fireflies moving through the woods. Almost magical!
Congratulations on the pending wedding! Life. Goes. On. :)

I love them, too. With our drought, it’s going to be tough sledding for them. :(
I have been IN LOVE with this song since the moment I first hear it. ‘Owl City, Fireflies’
