An unexpected consequence of climate change known as upper atmospheric cooling has finally been confirmed by satellite sensors...While proving the accuracy of our previous climate models, the phenomenon has experts "very worried," according to Yale Environment 360...While the blanket of air close to the Earth's surface is warming, most of the atmosphere above is becoming dramatically colder...

Living in the desert, with below normal surface humidity being the norm, I have noticed that when upper atmospheric humidity is high, through polarized lenses, the sky looks gray, but when upper level atmospheric humidity is low, during the day, again through polarized lenses, the sky looks black.
This matters, because without that humidity, the daytime surface temperature is hot, but at night the heat quickly radiates away, and the desert becomes bone chilling cold.
“Unexpected”. It is just Earth’s natural buffer systems at play rebalancing temperatures.
Well, if the ground air is hot and there is a cold layer of air above it and there is enough of a difference between the temperatures, we usually get a tornado.
Or maybe the ground sensors are in the wrong place.
I remember that about 10-15 years ago, there was a guy that used to visit official ground temperature measuring sites in the US. He got that information from a govt website. A surprising number of them were in the wrong places: in the middle of a parking lot, within the air plume of a heat pump, by an airport, etc... The govt response: remove the listing of the sites.
that guy was anthony Watts, of the wattsupwiththat.com website
WUWT is THE place to go to on theclimate hoax. Love that site!
If every country on Earth confiscated every penny beyond bare subsistence from every person and spent it all on “climate”, they couldn't affect the global temperature by one degree or the sea levels by an inch. So it's a VERY little bit!
I recall reading such a theory many years ago involving volcanic activity and gases reaching the edge of space, being super-chilled and falling to Earth in huge "blobs" which instantly killed and froze plants and animals. It would certainly account for the state of preservation of Mammoths and other creatures in the far north.
