I probably watched more episodes of Davey and Goliath than Gumby. I seems to recall D&G was easier to find than Gumby.

The old bendable gumby toy would eventually reveal the sharp wire frame within the rubber.
IT could be used to poke all kinds of things. And we did.
The kind of sharp wire that may not be appropriate for small kids.
..... I miss those days.....
