Wow... It would seem that any three letter organization in DC are allowed to make the laws now.. I have three letters in my initials, maybe I could lay down a few laws.....but that really doesn't work well around home, they just walk all over them.. :(

I recently traveled across a handful of countries in Europe. If you want to know what this looks like, you only need to look there.

No dishwashers. No icemakers. Restricted flow showers, toilets and sinks. (If that leads to less showering, we'll smell like a lot of the Parisians, in summer.) Significantly limited hot water. Cooking small meals on hot plates. Small refrigerators. Wall-mounted, single room, electric "cooling" fans which do little to remove humidity.

Of course, Europe does a lot of these because they have many historic buildings that cannot be easily renovated for air ducts and HVAC systems; their sewage and water supplies are limited. We are deliberately inviting these kind of restrictions, not by choice, but by government control.

A few years past the EPA “mandated” that toilets use 1 gallon per flush.

Then they silently eased off those requirements after toilets no longer flushed right.

The US, a country that puts people on the moon can’t build a frigging toilet that flushes right!

What the left wants is a permanent class of serfs wholly dependent on the government and restricted in almost every aspect of their daily lives. Don’t think for a minute that the elite class won’t still have their air conditioning, gas stove, big limos and SUVs and live in luxury.
