Shocking surveillance footage shows the moment at least eight suspects engaged in a heated attack on two 7-Eleven clerks - after they refused to sell a cigar to an underage girl.
Now being slammed as a 'senseless act of violence', the Saturday night attack happened at one of the chain's stores in small-town Texas, and saw the female staffers struck several times and pelted with snacks from the shelves.
The violence started around 9pm - after one of the clerks seen in the footage refused to sell the tobacco product to a member of the party who was under the age of 21, leading her to return with the rest of the juveniles.
After a brief exchange of words, the attack ensued - and its entirety was caught on camera.
Despite this, detectives in the Dallas suburb are still looking for the perpetrators, who remain at large. They are seen hitting and throwing items at the victims, with some even hopping over the counter to carry out the assault.

What we need is to make attack by a group be explicitly regarded as justifying deadly force in self defense.
