Disney 'Gay Days' gets bumper turnout in defiance of Ron DeSantis with drag queen events and rainbow-themed Mickey Mouse merchandise flying off the shelves

Disney's 'Gay Days' events have gone ahead as planned, in defiance of Florida governor and presidential nominee Ron DeSantis' battle with the company over the state's so-called 'Don't Say Gay' laws.

Thousands celebrated Pride events at World Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Orlando over the weekend, despite the company's legal war with the conservative governor over his stance regarding LGBTQ issues.

The celebration, which started on Saturday and goes on for five days, is 'comprised of multiple events staged at world famous attractions, gay & lesbian nightclubs, and unique venues secured for the purpose of creating an inclusive LGBTQ atmosphere,' according to the event's website.

In spite of a travel advisory by civil rights groups, crowds wearing red shirts with the words 'Say Gay' or 'Don’t say DeSantis,' were seen celebrating Pride month in front of the iconic Cinderella Castle.

Tourists enjoyed several events like pool parties and drag bingo at nearby resorts and the park, which welcomes but does not sponsor the yearly celebration.

Transgenderism is low hanging fruit; what about open homosexuality/same sex “marriage” outright within the ranks? That degeneracy started all this which is the ROOT cause of all. “Deep State” worships that stuff which is why they push it hard. Time for Trump to attack homosexuality outright if he is honest about destroying the “Deep State”. But he doesn't does he. Again, he is a populists fraud. This whole “Deep State” mantra is silly. “Deep State” is just Administrative Law which Trumps supports, but it's a good campaign slogan i guess.

It’s Ok. Chill. Let it run its course.

That small crowd can’t prop up disney on their own.

Endless lines, bored and angry people waiting in line, overpriced foods, faggery on display. He rated it an “F”. His wife couldn’t believe how bad it was.

I've worked with some ultra-Orthodox Jewish schools. Before admitting a child, some will have a clause for the parents to sign: "No Florida vacations."

Honestly, I would no longer want to take a child to Disney, or probably any large amusement parks, not only because of the Alphabet crowd. These places have grown too darn coarse -- fights, drunks, lewdness -- not the right environment, even for an adult. The whole thing just sounds like a miserable experience.

I know of some religious/conservative groups that might privately rent out these parks for the day. (At a famous one in Coney Island, naked statues were covered up.) But going there on a regular or casual basis would be sick and crazy.

When Disney Theme Parks first opened, they were something new and fresh. It was a step above existing amusement parks by a wide margin. You didn’t mind so much the long lines because it was so unique and far superior to similar venues of the time. Over 50 years later, it’s become passe. It somehow doesn’t seem worth enduring the long lines and overpriced eateries anymore.

They’ve also lost the family friendly atmosphere and the professional, courteous work force that was such a part of the experience back then. With all that and the fact that there’s more competition nowadays, there’s less and less reason to go there.
