The risk-taking motorist was spotted pulling the treacherous stunt Sunday on the 91 Freeway in Corona, California, according to KTLA.
Video provided to the news station by another motorist shows a man wearing a neon yellow T-shirt, dark pants and a red bandana tied around his head balancing on the ledge of the open window of a car.
The thrill-seeker’s entire body can be seen standing up straight outside of what appears to be a blueish-gray Nissan as it barrels down the California freeway.
The startling footage then shows the man opening his arms wide as the wind whips his shirt around.

In fairness, if that is an EV, he’s probably safer standing on the window ledge that sitting inside of it.
Bad idea to publish this photo. It will lead to others doing it as a challenge, like subway surfing in NYC. But unlike subway surfing, where only the surfer’s life is at risk, this stunt endangers innocent people in other cars. Hope I’m wrong, but I won’t be surprised if this becomes a thing fools do.
A few years ago a young lady on the passenger side stuck her torso out during a ride. Somehow she hit a post or something and that was the end of her.
On the bright side, it might clean up the gene pool a bit. Of course, the concern is it would lead to accidents that hurt innocent people.
When I was in my late teens, my friends and I would play a dangerous game where the driver would pretend that he was asleep while the passenger secretly steered the car and pretended not to notice. People would honk and try to get our attention to say that the driver had passed out and the passenger would act like he couldn’t hear the driver. It was fun at the time but I’m surprised we didn’t’ get into an accident.
The man’s an idiot. It appears he was wearing his mask improperly.
Dude is on the driver’s side door. Don’t see a driver. Is it one of those “self-driving” EVs?
This is really no different than the scumbags who pitch rocks off highway overpasses. Innocent people get hurt or killed with this nonsense.
I hope they catch this guy and treat him like they would if he tossed a cinder block off an overpass.
Obviously the “de-policing” policy is working.
