They actually say that. Getting good grades is acting white.
Low IQ folks tend to solve conflict through physical ways rather than discussing them. It’s not all about empathy, even thouvh they are light on that. More often disagreement is regarded as disrespect and devolves into name calling and then fighting.
People really must read Dr. Sowell’s Black Rednecks and White Liberals book. African American culture was comparable until southern blacks who didn’t didn’t value education migrated to the north for industrial jobs and brought that culture. This included the bastardization of language that came from England/Scotland but adopted by southern blacks. You’ll never look at race the same way again after that book.

Isn't the whole "integration" project a way of saying, "You're no good as you are, to get along, be like us?"
They are NOT like us. Many of them, perhaps a majority, find living among us to be intolerable.
And THEY have been here since the beginning, certainly longer than most of us.

Integration was actually the first attempt at equity before the term became en vogue.

I lived in the Jim Crow South - and the black community had a marriage rate about the same as white citizens. And their families were cohesive and strong. Then along came LBJ (who was rumored to be a former KKK member) and he decided to ‘help’ the black community to wed the democrat party in exchange for eternal dependence.

The perception of "disrespect" and the resultant name-calling, pigeonholing, and childish insult throwing does not lead to physical altercation only because of distance.

I worked at an insurance company & my cubemate was black. Played D-1 basketball at a major university. His dad sacrificed so he could go to a Catholic preparatory high school & graduated with a post grad degree. He lived in the hood and asked him why and said if he didn’t, his friends would call him uppity.
One Monday, he didn’t come in. Turns out he went to a party & talked to someone’s girlfriend. Guy went and got a .22, pointed at the guy’s chest and at the last moment, pointed at his leg & shot him in the thigh.
